Terms of Use for Slide Puzzler

Last Updated: April 14, 2026

These Terms may be made available in languages other than English. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the English-language version controls if a translated version conflicts with it.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Slide Puzzler, including the website and web application available at slidepuzzler.com, and any related features, content, subscriptions, leaderboards, and support services (collectively, the "Service").

Slide Puzzler provides the Service. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Slide Puzzler.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Using the Service

Slide Puzzler is a web-based sliding puzzle game for desktop and touch devices.

The Service may allow you to:

  • play as a guest without creating an account;
  • create an account for additional features;
  • play using curated images provided through the Service; and
  • play using an image selected from your own device.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, content, plans, or availability.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally allowed to do so.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Accounts and Account Security

Some parts of the Service can be used without an account. Other features may require one.

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information;
  • keep your login credentials confidential and secure;
  • take responsibility for activity under your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures; and
  • notify us promptly at support@slidepuzzler.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud, abuse, cheating, or unlawful activity.

4. Usernames and Public Features

If you create an account, you may be assigned or allowed to choose a username. Usernames may be visible publicly, including on leaderboards and similar public features.

You may not use a username that:

  • is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, deceptive, or defamatory;
  • infringes another person's rights;
  • impersonates another person, brand, or organization; or
  • is otherwise inappropriate for the Service.

We may remove, replace, or restrict usernames that violate these Terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.

5. Leaderboards, Game History, and Results

The Service may include private game history, best-time tracking, public leaderboards, and other record or ranking features.

Public leaderboard entries and shared results may include information such as:

  • your username or player name;
  • your solve time;
  • the completion date or time; and
  • puzzle or gameplay details associated with the result.

Some game results may remain private or appear only in your account or browser history.

We may review, reject, remove, adjust, or invalidate scores, placements, or leaderboard entries if we believe they are inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, automated, manipulated, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

We do not guarantee that any score, placement, history entry, or leaderboard result will remain available permanently.

6. Guest Play, Browser Storage, and Local Data

If you use the Service without creating an account, the Service may save preferences, settings, and gameplay information locally in your browser or device.

You understand that locally stored information may be lost if you clear browser storage, switch browsers, use private browsing, reset your device, or change devices.

We are not responsible for loss of locally stored guest data except where required by applicable law.

7. Images You Use With the Service

Slide Puzzler may allow you to choose an image from your own device to create a puzzle.

If you choose an image from your device, it is normally processed in your browser for gameplay and is not uploaded to us merely because you selected it.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any image you choose in connection with the Service.

You keep ownership of your own images. We do not claim ownership of images that remain local to your device and are not submitted to us.

8. Paid Plans, Billing, and Promotions

The Service may offer paid subscriptions or other paid features, including plan-based access to certain features.

Current pricing, billing terms, included features, and any applicable taxes or fees will be shown in the Service or at checkout at the time of purchase.

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, you authorize the charges disclosed to you at checkout.

If a subscription renews automatically, it will continue until canceled, unless stated otherwise at checkout or required otherwise by applicable law.

You may manage or cancel your subscription through the billing tools made available in the Service. Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable.

Promotions, discount codes, trials, and special offers may be subject to additional terms and may be changed or withdrawn where permitted by law.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any law or regulation;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
  • access the Service using bots, scripts, automation, or other unfair methods;
  • cheat, manipulate results, or attempt to submit false or misleading game outcomes;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
  • use the Service to transmit spam, malicious code, or harmful content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • use images or other material that you do not have the right to use; or
  • use the Service in any way that could harm the Service, other users, or Slide Puzzler.

10. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, curated content, and other materials, is owned by Slide Puzzler or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, lawful use.

You may not:

  • copy, sell, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content except as permitted by law or by us in writing;
  • remove proprietary notices;
  • use our branding without permission; or
  • reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code from the Service except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

11. Content You Submit

If you submit feedback, support messages, suggestions, or other content to us through the Service or by email, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, support, maintain, and improve the Service.

This does not change your ownership of content that belongs to you.

For clarity, an image used only locally in your browser for gameplay and not transmitted to us is not treated as content submitted to us.

12. Sharing Features

The Service may let you share results, links, or images generated through the Service. Shared materials may include solve times, stats, or leaderboard-related information.

If you use sharing features, you are responsible for what you choose to share. Third-party platforms or services may apply their own terms and privacy rules.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service may include or rely on third-party services for things like payments, analytics, sign-in, hosting, sharing, and security.

We do not control third-party services, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or operations. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, abuse, or unlawful activity;
  • we believe suspension is necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties; or
  • we are required to do so by law.

We may also remove scores, usernames, public results, or other content associated with your use of the Service where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect the Service.

Ending or canceling a subscription does not automatically close your account or delete related records unless required by law or stated in a separate policy.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from bugs or harmful components.

We also do not guarantee that scores, rankings, history, sync, sharing, or account-related features will always be accurate, available, or preserved.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights, warranties, or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Slide Puzzler will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  1. the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  2. USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

17. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slide Puzzler and its affiliates, service providers, and personnel from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • your misuse of the Service;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of applicable law; or
  • your infringement of another person's rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own unlawful conduct or by conduct for which indemnity cannot lawfully be required.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we do, we will post the updated version and update the "Last Updated" date above. By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

19. General Terms

These Terms, together with any additional terms presented to you for specific features, offers, or purchases, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
